Dear Friends, Blessing from Sahasrakshi! In the year 2008, with the inspirations of the devotees, construction of a DAKSHAVATI was taken up. This is a unique facility for Shiva pooja where the devotees can also learn and perform Rudrabhishekam, Meditation, Yoga etc. Dakshavati consists of 2,116 Shivalingas, of which 1,116 lingas are set on central Kailasapeetham and all the remaining are set on all the four sides of this Peetham. At a time, 1,000 devotees can physically perform Rudrabhishekam, each one sitting at one Shivalinga.
Inspite of the dedicated efforts of the devotees, due to paucity of funds, the roof structure of Dakshavati could not be completed. Without roof, the Dakshavati is exposed to the vagaries of weather, much to the inconvenience of bhaktas. It is, therefore, necessary to provide roof structure to this facility at the earliest.
Dakhavati is constructed in an area of 22,500 sq.ft (150 ft X 150 ft). The area of the roof structure required now is measuring 125 ft. X 125 ft. i.e., about 16,000 sq.ft. This is estimated to cost about Rs.25.00 lacs (Rupees Twenty Five lakhs). Out of this amount, about Rs.10.00 lacs of contribution are in the pipeline. This leaves about Rs.15.00 lacs still to be mobilized through contributions from patrons / sponsors / devotees. It is our sincere desire to complete this work as soon as possible before the summer season starts so that all the visiting bhatkas can perform poojas without any hindrances of weather conditions, rain or shine.
Therefore, we request one and all to contribute their mite for the completion of construction of Dakshavati.
