The Shata Meru Puja will be conducted through the medium of a powerful synergistic arrangement of Merus. The life-size 6ft X 6ft X 3ft Main Meru will be adorned by (ten)10in.X 10 in.X 5in. Merus and (one-hundred-and-eight) 5in. X 5in. X 2.5in Merus at the various Shakti Sthanas (see the illustration below). These Merus have been designed and developed by Devipuram’s Sadhakas and engineers to meet the specifications prescribed by the Shastras to the highest degree of accuracy. In other words, these Merus are manufactured to the highest quality available in design, materials and production technologies.

Guruji Sri Amritananda Saraswati will personally do a Prana Pratishta (or invocation/installation of the cosmic life force) for all the Merus. Following the invocation, a complete Navavarana Puja (also called the Sacred Sri Chakra Puja) will be done to these “Meru of Merus” per the Shastra, Parashurama Kalpasutra, invoking and worshipping all aspects of the divine energies. This Navavarana Puja is one of the most sacred ritual that brings the highest blessings of the supreme goddess for bestowing the devotees with both physical abundance and spiritual attainment simultaneously. Adding to the significance of this Shata Meru Puja is the fact that this ‘Meru of Merus’ will be seated in the Meru Nilayam, the largest Sri Meru Temple in the world, as its twelve-year Maha Kumbabhishekham ceremonies will be underway.

Devipuram is pleased to offer an opportunity for all those interested to sponsor and secure one of these special Merus installed and worshipped during the puja. These Merus will be made with bronze with a coat of pure gold. The special cost for sponsoring and securing the Meru for this event only is as follows.

2. Rs. 10,000 ($225) for the 5in. X 5in. X 2.5in Meru

There will be an upward revision in the price of the Merus after this event.
